Monday Made It

I have spent several hours over the last couple of weeks checking out so many awesome blogs! The "Monday Made It" has been one of my favorite things. I have truly been inspired by everyone's creativity, so I thought I would join in all the fun! I really liked Tara's ideas of the READ letters. Check out her original post here. I decided that I wanted to make numbers for my classroom door or the wall next to the door. Sticking with my classroom theme and colors, here is what I came up with.

I haven't decided how I would hang them yet, but I absolutely love how they turned out!!! EXCITED!!!!!! :)

I am also in the process of revamping my home. In the kitchen, I have added a glass tile backsplash that I absolutely love and was looking for items to decorate the top of the cabinets. Here are a couple of additions to the above-the-cabinet decor. Yes, I love how these turned out too! For the record, my neighbor was throwing the bottles away (it wasn't me who enjoyed the cold, refreshing taste of these beverages).

I think that I am going to have a good time with this Monday Made It! Thanks Tara!!! :)

  1. What a great idea to make your room number! :) They turned out FANTASTIC! Love the stripes... I've seen that print at Hobby Lobby! Great job!!! I'm wanting to do some letters here soon.

    1. Thanks for checking out my post! Yes, the scrapbook paper I used came from the Safari Untamed pack from Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately, the 5th grade hall classrooms at my school don't have the class number on the outside of the doors. So that gave me an excuse to buy and create something. :)
